Re: January 6, 1912, and Frustration

Wegener, it has been discovered recently (1960s) that you were right, and that all the continents all formed together at one point. The reason for the movement is something called Sea Floor Spreading. Basically, lava is being pushed up from the outer core, and into the ocean, where it cools down and forms new rock. This pushes away the old rock, and the old rock takes the continents with them. Just thought I would let you know, theoretically of course seeing how you died in Greenland...

Frustration

I have given the world of science several pieces of evidence. My first piece of evidence was actually what found in the first place, and that is how the continents all fit together like a puzzle piece. For an example, the east coast of South America fits snugly into the west coast of Africa. Another piece of evidence was from fossils that have been found collectively around the world, such as how the Lystrosaurus has fossils in South America and Africa, and the Mesosaurus has fossils in Africa, Madagascar, India, and even in Antarctica. The last piece of evidence  that should have convinced the scientific world of Pangaea is how plants that grow in tropical climates have been found in Antarctica (fossilized of course). But my theory has been rejected because I can't seem to figure out how the continents moved. Very frustrating. But in any case, I need to go to Greenland to monitor Arctic climate for twelve months, and when I get back maybe I can find a reason for why the continents move

Today, I presented a huge discovery. I found that all of the continents were once all joined together, to form a landmass that I call "Pangaea" (It's greek for All Lands). It's an amazing discovery, but I am not quiet sure how the continents got separated or moved in the first place. It is something I will have to look into.
